How to care for your bakes!
Whole Cakes (Classic & Custom)
Transport: Always carry from the bottom of the box. Avoid pressing the top or sides.
Carrying in Vehicle: Place flat on the car floor (never on the seat). Keep level at all times. Avoid carrying the cake on the lap as your body heat will melt the cake at a faster rate.
Storage: Store in the fridge. Do not freeze as this may affect texture and decorations.
Before Serving:
- 4"–7" cakes → remove from fridge 15–30 mins before cutting.
- 8" and above cakes → remove 30–60 mins before cutting.
Display: If displaying outside of the fridge, keep in a cool air-conditioned environment (maximum of 1-2hrs). Once left out to display, avoid moving the cake around, it may collapse or topple when softened.
Leftovers: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge, and consume within 2–3 days.
Roll Cakes
Transport: Keep the box flat and avoid pressing on the roll. Place flat on the car floor (never on the seat)
Storage: Store in the fridge. Do not freeze.
Serving: Can be enjoyed directly from the fridge, no defrosting needed.
Leftovers: Store in an airtight container in the fridge and finish within 1-2 days.
Cupcakes
Transport: Carry upright and avoid shaking the box. Place flat on the car floor (never on the seat)
Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge, can be kept for 2-3 days. Allow to come to room temperature for 15–20 mins before eating so the cake is soft and moist.
Leftovers: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge, consume within 2 days.
Brownies & Cookies
Transport: Carry upright and avoid shaking the box. Place flat on the car floor (never on the seat)
Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge, can be kept for 2-3 days
Serving: Best enjoyed at room temperature. If refrigerated, allow to sit out for 10–15 mins or warm slightly in the microwave for a fudgier texture.
Cookies
Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Keep away from direct heat/sunlight.
